John DeTurris is part of the Falcon Jet Sales team, covering the Northeastern US and Eastern Canada. His passion for aviation began on Long Island, first soloing out of Brookhaven as a Junior at Sachem North High School. John’s career in business aviation also began on Long Island when he joined ExcelAire as a Charter Coordinator, eventually working into a Sales Manager position. His flight experience includes a stint as First Officer with a midwestern US-based insurance company operating turboprop twin aircraft. He holds a Commercial Pilot certificate with Multi-engine and Instrument ratings. He graduated from the University of Dubuque where he earned an MBA and a BS in Flight Operations and Aviation Management.
